D3O Ghost L2 Shoulder/Hip Armor – CE Level 2

Description

This L2 Ghost armor set (sold in pairs) is a true no-brainer — it fits into most standard pockets, offers Level 2 protection in a Level 1 form factor, and instantly levels up your protection factor.

If we’re being frank, the breathability claim is a little bogus, because no armor is really going to breathe very well. This set has micro flexible vents and comes with a full fabric backing, onto which the flexible triangular structure is 3D printed.

We think it’s the best product on the market when it comes to low-profile armor limb armor.

As its name implies the Ghost L2 armor truly disappears, thanks to a nicely tapered edge and super pliable, flexible AF (TM) gooey D30 magic material.

At 11mm thick (see full dimensions pictured below), it’s pretty much the same thickness of Level 1 original D3O Evo XT, or more vented LP1.

It comes in this Shoulder/Hip profile, as well as a slightly longer Elbow/Knee version. Full specs are listed on the respective product pages.

And it’s so good, light, and low-profile, that think we don’t expect to sell much of the original L1 D30 Ghost armor.
