Description

The Type B armor ups the coverage from the standard approx. 7.5×4.5 inches to a full 9×6 profile.

Because of the John Doe armor positioning system, it’s easy to get away with less, because the rider can position the armor with pinpoint accuracy to help cover the crucial kneecap. 

So in some ways, standard-issue “A” Type armor is totally sufficient. But that said, we’ll never argue against more armor, and this B-Type extended coverage option not only provides 30-plus percent more coverage; it’s also offered in a thicker Level 2 option.

All John Doe knee armor comes with low-profile Velcro built in to fasten to the proprietary armor pockets found in all John Doe Riding Jeans.
