Kriega R16 Backpack

Description

With a rugged Cordura outer shell and finely wrought internal waterproof compartment, the R16 will port up to a 15-inch laptop with total confidence.

Outwardly the R16 has only one point of ingress and egress—the trademark roll-top design that Kriega uses in most of its bags. But unlike every other interior roll-tight waterproof liner in the sprawling Kriega family of moto bags, this one sports an integrated zippered mesh for securing a phone, wallet and other every-day-carry sundries.

The R16 comes with a removable waist strap to keep it locked down tight while riding, as well as Kriega’s patented pliable chest harness, which is a favorite with motorcyclists for its generous ease of movement and “locked in” feel.

It also has built-in webbing tabs for securing additional Kriega units to, such as a US-5, but that’s maybe one modular step to far, and seems a little silly at this scale. If you need more room Kriega has plenty of other quality waterproof backpack options—like the svelte R22, the expandable R28-Max, and the granddaddy R30.
