Why You Need This: The plastic components of your vintage Honda motorcycle are prone to deterioration over time, and the multi-pin plastic terminal connectors in your electrical system are no exception. These connectors often become brittle, crack, lose their locking clips, or accumulate corrosion that leaves the inner terminals looking like a snow globe. We had a pristine CB360 in this exact situation, causing all kinds of electrical havoc!

Honda CT90 / Trail 90, CB175, CB200, CB350, CB360, CB450, CB550, and CB750 all used the same style of terminals and connectors in their wiring harnesses, so these issues arise regardless of model. The same applies to many other vintage Japanese motorcycles from the era that used similar terminal wiring harness connectors.

The 6-terminal connectors were commonly used for the fuse box connection on the CB/CL360 Scrambler, the regulator/rectifier connector on the CB550 and CB750, and the handlebar-mounted key switch on 1975 and later models like the CB500T. In some cases, Honda used a 6-terminal connector but only utilized 5 of the actual terminals, so keep this in mind when building a custom wiring harness.
