Assault 2:1 Exhaust / ’06-’17 Dyna, except FLD

Description

The Trask Assault 2:1 is a handmade 16GA stainless exhaust for ’06-’17 Dyna models, fitting both forward and mid controls.

Gas purged TIG welding is a detail most exhaust makers skip, and it matters on stainless. Purging the inside of the tube during welding prevents the weld from oxidizing where you cannot see it, which is where corrosion starts on a system that looks fine from outside. Trask builds these by hand that way, from mandrel bent 16 gauge stainless.

How the Assault System Is Built

Mandrel bending holds a consistent inside diameter through every curve rather than crimping at the bends. A double slip fit and gusset add strength at the joint, which is where vibration concentrates on a rigid mount chassis. Custom heat shields use wire-tied fasteners for a race inspired look. O2 ports are included. Made in the USA, in full stainless or black.
