A cargo net goes on your bike the way a helmet goes on your head. Trying to strap a bag down with one bungee cord and a hopeful expression is how takeout ends up on the road. This is the accessory that fixes it.

Why You Need This

We keep one on almost every bike here — CT90, CB175, CB200, CB350, CB360, CB450, CB550, CB750. Groceries on the way back from the store. A case of oil, or a case of something else. A spare helmet for a passenger. The backpack you have been wearing on your commute, which is also the reason for the sweat stain down the back of your work shirt.

Stretch one over the seat and you have a rack. Stretch one over the tank and you have somewhere to put a map, a water bottle and a travel bag for a weekend. There is no drilling, no bracket, and nothing to bolt on. The bigger the net, the more it holds.

Which Size You Want

This is the question we get asked most, so here is the short version.

Where it goes	Size
Over the gas tank	15 x 15 in. is the one to get. The 12 x 17 in. also works well.
Over the seat, or a passenger seat piled up	15 x 30 in. — it is too big for a tank, which is exactly what makes it right here.

If you only ever buy one, buy the 15 x 15 in. It is the size we point people to for a tank.

How to Use It

Hook it anywhere, stretch it over anything. Your creativity is the limit.

Two things worth doing properly. Hook to solid points — the frame, or something equally fixed — rather than to whatever is nearest. And double up instead of trusting a single attachment, because a cord or a net can snap or work its way loose, and the first you hear about it is your gear going across the road behind you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size fits my gas tank?

The 15 x 15 in. The 12 x 17 in. works well too. The 15 x 30 in. is a bit big for a tank — save that one for the seat.

Will it fit my bike?

Yes. It is a net, not a bracket. It hooks over what you have and pulls tight against it, so there is no year, model or variant it needs to match.

Do you sell a luggage rack?

We do not, and we have not found a good one for these bikes — there is not much out there that fits a vintage Honda properly. A net over the seat is what we use instead.

What do I hook it to?

The frame, or any other solid mounting point that will not move. Keep hooks clear of the chain and the spokes. If your bike has no good anchor point back there, the Rear Shock Bungee Nut gives you one.

What colors are there?

Six at 15 x 15 in.: black, blue, green, purple, red and yellow. The 12 x 17 in. is black. The 15 x 30 in. comes in black, blue and red.
