Custom Dynamics Taillight Base Plate – ’25 M8 Softail

Description

A direct replacement taillight baseplate that deletes the factory rear turn signals and leaves your Harley-Davidson Softail with a clean, uninterrupted tail.

The factory baseplate carries the OEM rear turn signals out on stalks. This one does not. Custom Dynamics molded it from durable ABS plastic in black with the same OEM style shape, so it sits in the stock location and looks like it belongs, while the back of the bike loses the signal arms entirely.

It is built to pair with an integrated taillight. Custom Dynamics designed this baseplate specifically for their own and ProBEAM integrated taillights, which fold brake, run and turn signal into one clean unit. Metal threaded inserts are molded in so the taillight fastens to metal rather than threading into plastic.

Read this before you order. Custom Dynamics states that an alternative rear turn signal must be installed on the motorcycle. Removing the OEM rear turn signals without one can trigger fault codes. On FXLRST Low Rider ST models the OEM rear turn signals must be removed for installation, and an additional taillight wire harness may be required.
