Standard roller weights rely on a rolling motion that eventually creates “flat spots,” leading to sluggish acceleration and reduced top speeds. Dr. Pulley Sliding Weights utilize a patented wedge-shaped design that slides up and down the variator ramps. This unique movement allows the weights to travel further than traditional rollers, effectively broadening your gear ratio for a “best of both worlds” performance boost.

Tech Tip: For most 50cc Minarelli engines, a weight between 4.5g and 6.0g is the “sweet spot” for balancing acceleration and top speed.
