Your grips are the first thing you touch every ride and one of the first things anyone notices on the bike. These waffle-pattern grips swap the vanilla OEM look for a bit of custom flavor — soft, supple rubber in the classic waffle texture, in five colors.

Why You Need This

Old grips go hard, slick, and torn. A fresh pair gives you back the grip and comfort for long rides, and a little personality up top while you’re at it. They fit any 7/8″ handlebar, so they work across the whole vintage Honda lineup.

The grips come in five colors, named like a stack of pancakes:

• Blueberry — blue

Installation

Difficulty: Beginner

The pair has two different inner diameters: the smaller grip goes on the left bar, and the larger one goes on the right, over the throttle sleeve.

1. Cut the old grips off with a sharp knife or razor — it’s the easy way.
2. Wet the bar (and the throttle sleeve) with glass cleaner or soapy water so the new grips slide on.
3. Push each grip fully on, leaving a little space between the right grip and the control box so it doesn’t rub.

CT90 K0–K5: these originally used a right grip with a slightly larger inner diameter that’s now obsolete. The standard grip still fits the throttle tube, but it goes on tight — warm the grip and use a light solvent like Windex to ease it on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which grip goes on which side?

The pair isn’t identical: the grip with the smaller inner diameter goes on the left handlebar, and the one with the larger inner diameter goes on the right, where it slides over the throttle sleeve.

What do the flavor names mean?

They’re just our names for the colors: Blueberry is blue, Raspberry is red, Molasses is black, Chocolate is brown, and Peanut Butter is natural/tan.

Will they fit my bike?

If your Honda runs 7/8″ handlebars — which covers the whole CT90-through-CB750 range — yes. They’re a universal 7/8″ grip.

Are they shorter than my stock grips?

At 5″ (125 mm) they can sit a touch shorter than a worn original on some bikes, leaving a small gap at the controls. If you want the closest-to-stock length, our OEM-Style grips run a little longer.
