Description

Heavy-duty full-complement inner cam bearings, covering four engine eras.

Inner cam bearings are a routine replacement any time the camchest is open, and running a worn one back in is a false economy. These are full-complement bearings manufactured by Koyo Torrington, built to take the higher loads and demands of a performance engine.

Choose the variant that matches your motor. The count differs between engines, so read the unit in the option before you order.

  • Designed to accept the higher loads and demands of performance engines
  • Made in the U.S.A.

Fitment and how they are sold

  • Milwaukee-Eight — Touring ’17-’25, Softail ’18-’25. Sold each, replaces OEM 9215
  • Late camchest Twin Cam — Touring ’07-’16, Softail ’07-’17, Dyna ’06-’17. Sold as a pair, replaces OEM 9215
  • Early camchest Twin Cam — Touring ’99-’06, Softail ’00-’06, Dyna ’99-’05. Sold as a pair, replaces OEM 9198
  • Evo Big Twin — ’58-’00 covering FL, FX, FXR, Softail, Dyna and Touring, excluding Twin Cam
  • Sportster — ’57-’90 XL, XLH, XLCH and XR, plus ’87-’90 Buell RR1000 and RR1200

Note: a Milwaukee-Eight takes one bearing and is sold each, while the Twin Cam options are supplied as a pair. Check which you need before ordering. The ’06 model year splits by platform — a ’06 Dyna takes the late bearing, a ’06 Softail or Touring takes the early one.

Works With

The early camchest press-in bearings are the ones a conversion camplate oil system needs. See the Race Series Oil System Pack for Early Twin Cam, whose Chain Drive Conversion option uses the original ’99-’06 cam bearing bores. Buying twenty at a time? See the Inner Cam Bearings 20-Pack.
