Description

The NCY 1500 RPM CVT Compression Spring is specifically engineered for the Yamaha Vino 125 and Zuma 125 (BW’s 125). The compression spring controls two critical CVT functions: it supplies the pressure needed to engage the drive belt, and it determines the rate at which the transmission shifts from low to high gear. A higher RPM spring delays the upshift, keeping the engine in its powerband longer for improved mid-range pull.

Reference: A 1000 RPM spring upshifts sooner (smoother, earlier engagement); a 2000 RPM spring upshifts later (more aggressive, holds low gear longer). This 1500 RPM spring sits between stock and aggressive.
