Why You Need This: If you are treating your vintage Honda CB500 / CB550 / CB750 right, regular oil changes are a must. With that, your oil filter should be replaced with every oil change. We carry two different grades of oil filters: standard and performance. Either filter includes the filter cover o-ring and center bolt o-ring. If the head of the oil filter bolt is stripped or chewed up, we’ve got replacement oil filter bolts.

Installation Tip: You should change the oil in your Honda CB500 / CB550 / CB750 every 1,500 miles and replace the oil filter every oil change. Torque center bolt to spec (20 ft-lb). We recommend motor oil with a good additive package, particularly a high zinc content such as diesel truck oil or racing oil.
