The fuel tank on vintage Honda twins and inline fours is held in place by a rubber mount that secures the rear tank mounting tab. If the rear mount on your motorcycle is dry-rotted, torn, or missing, this OEM-style replacement is manufactured in Japan from high-quality rubber and is an exact dimensional match for the original Honda part.

Why You Need This

After decades of use, original rear tank mounts crack, deteriorate, or go missing entirely. A worn or missing rear mount lets the fuel tank shift on the frame, causing the tank to sit crooked or rub against the frame while riding. This replacement restores proper tank fitment.

Installation

The point of the rubber mount faces toward the front of the motorcycle. The front mounts must be in place for the gas tank to sit securely on the frame.
