Why You Need This

Honda was revolutionary in the 1960s with electric starters on their motorcycles. Models like the CB350, CL350, SL350, CB360, CL360, CB450, CL450, and CB500T all feature electric starters, which means they also have starter solenoids. These solenoids, acting as switches connecting the starter to the battery, can wear out or get damaged over time. Our direct replacement starter solenoid fits these models perfectly, suitable for both stock replacements and custom builds. It allows for custom mounting and includes a fused (30 Amp) power tap for additional needs. Pair it with a new AMG battery for reliable engine cranking.

Installation Tip

Check the continuity of the starter button on your handlebar switch. Always disconnect the battery (starting with the negative side) and remove it from the bike before installation. The solenoid’s connections for both large and small wires can be connected either way, as the replacement solenoid is symmetrical.
