Why You Need This

Is your tachometer needle bouncing, sticking, or not working at all? The tachometer cable could be the culprit. It’s mechanically responsible for driving the tachometer on the Honda CB350 / SL350 / CL350, and issues like sticking, breakage, or kinking over the years can impair its function. If you’re experiencing tachometer issues, a replacement cable might be the solution. Don’t forget to check the speedometer cable as it operates similarly.

*SL350 K1 & K2 Owners: Your motorcycle uses a shorter tachometer cable than the standard CB350 / CL350 family, which is 22.25 inches in length.

Installation Tip

Ensure each end of the cable is properly seated before installation, and apply a dab of light grease to both ends. Remember, the screw on the drive end of the cable on the engine side must be fully removed for the cable to be detached and replaced.
