Why You Need This Part: Finding the correct tachometer cable for your Honda CL450 / CB450 / CB500T has been tough if not almost impossible to find. However we have dug deep and are happy to offer you the correct tachometer cable for the Honda CL450 / CB450 / CB500T. Our replacement tachometer cable comes in grey or black and has the proper 17mm hex coupler at the drive end. A new tach cable will ensure a smooth signal to the tachometer and keep the needle from bouncing around like a ping pong ball. Pair it up with a new speedometer cable and your gauges might finally be telling you the truth.

*Note 1: The CB450 K0 tachometer uses a different style connector and thus requires a different cable

*Note 2: This cable does not fit the CB450SC Nighthawk 1983 – 1986. That is a different platform 

Installation Tip: Before installing the tachometer cable, dribble a little bit of light oil down each end such as Marvel Mystery oil to keep it lubricated properly.
