A direct replacement for the OEM taillight base plate, in moulded ABS with metal threaded inserts.

The base plate is the part nobody thinks about until they change a taillight. It carries the light and it carries the threads, and the factory item is plastic all the way through. This one puts metal threaded inserts where the fasteners go, which is what stops a mounting point stripping the third time you take the light off.
